The New Era Times has been an online resource for those readers looking for something a bit more edgy and different than most newspapers print. We like to say — tongue in cheek, of course — we publish what newspapers like The New York Times won’t.

The New Era Times has been published on a regular basis since June 2010 and we currently have a stockpile of around 600 articles that deal with all things:

Spiritual
Metaphysical
Paranormal
Alternative Health Practices
Green Living
Prophecy
UFOs
Ancient Civilizations
The Unexplained
Astrology

The New Era Times is currently housed at Edgar Cayce’s ARE Center in Houston, Texas which is the only other Edgar Cayce facility outside the main offices in Virginia Beach. We found a lot of synchronicity with the content of The New Era Times and what Edgar Cayce’s work was all about so what better place to house our offices than the newly remodeled center here in Houston.

Currently The New Era Times is getting between 8,000 and 10,000 individual IP hits a month. We are currently working with a search engine optimization company and will be going through a lot of changes in the near future to help with even more visibility. We hope to have everything in place by April, so please bear with us as we will be going through some growing pains.

Advertising that contains 900 phone numbers IS NOT ACCEPTED.

AD PLACEMENT INFORMATION

We currently have 2 basic types of advertising vehicles for those wanting to take advantage of The New Era Times advertising reach. Ads need to be designed as simplistically as possible with a click through to your website ensuring our readers see your most up-to-date information!

At the top of the page centered in the mast-head area is the ad placement area we call NOTES. There is only 1 place for this type of ad, so it is at a premium price.
Running down the right-hand side of each page is the area for the DISPLAY ads. There are currently 7 different slots available to place an ad.

There are 2 different ways you can advertising in these 2 areas. These 2 variations can be utilized in both the NOTES and DISPLAY areas.

STATIC ADS — the slot you choose to display your ad will remain the same from page to page as people surf through the various pages of the site.
ROTATING ADS — the slot you choose to display your ad will vary depending upon how many people also have ads in that display slot, so your ad will not be on every page that is displayed like the static ads.

When building ads please consider these specifications and please remember an internet ad is set up very differently from a print ad.

All ads should be saved as JPG images at 72dpi
All ads are 300 pixels wide
URL’s should be submitted with each ad for placing a link to more information
