What does the New Year Mean Numerically?

by Congetta Bryant

The question of the day is one that most people are wondering about, just what do the numbers 2011 mean for the year ahead? Well if we look at the numbers added together, reduce them down to a single digit of four (4), we find a vibration of a helpful number, one that tries to restore order, one that brings about completion, somewhat like a nine (9) cycle. It is a year of intense management, and coming to agreements.

This “four” energy on the positive side is one that will try to resolve problem areas by overextending itself. You will be doing too many things at once, trying to appease everyone, and dealing with situations that have been building up but have been left unattended.

Eventually because of the amount of chaos it has to deal with from the past, it will wear itself out and cause the negative effect to become more prominent. On the negative side it can cause disagreements, drawing lines in the sand and complete breakdowns in communication.

It is never easy to start over, but this year will bring many new arrangements, partnerships and agreements. This doesn’t mean it will be to everyone’s liking, but it is like cleaning a closet out. Sometimes we try to hang on to things we really don’t need anymore simply because we think one day we might. Get rid of it. Make that change, or suffer the consequences.

Some numerologists like to add another year to the century year to get the “universal number”. It is said that by adding an extra year it encompasses the energy of growth for the Earth itself.

When adding the energy of one more year we have a five (5) outcome

2+0+1+1+1=5

Let’s add this energy and look at the change it would bring to the “four” we have already examined. The “five” is all about change, boredom, and actually getting along with everyone. So, if we need to reevaluate decisions from the past, now is the time to do it.

A “five” energy can establish a healthy environment because it can show how change can enhance an arena of new choices, new approaches, new partnerships, and new courses of action. The old can be brought up to a higher standard, and the new can be a needed change.

By taking your birth year and adding the one year to it, you can find your own “universal year”. Do not add your day or month, just the century year.

So, let’s say you were born in 1965, your own personal “universal year” will be found by the following example:

1+9+6+5+1=22/4
Master Year for Learning and Teaching

This particular personal “universal number” would coincidentally be right in line with the 2011 century number. It would replicate the vibration and energy discussed previously, as it holds the criteria suggested for 2011.

So, we have much to ponder about past regrets, mistakes and making better decisions. Help those who are really in need and cut the slackers loose. A great year to re-do our personal lives, make changes and look forward to new and exciting beginnings. Make new friends, try a new career, or, for that matter if need be, a new relationship.

Decisions made this year will be the start to clarity for the future…I say the start because it has been a long bumpy road to get to the place we are now. In fact the entire decade has been more than historical; it has been one of the most infamous decades ever.

The feeling of wanting things to have a more positive outcome in our lives will become the controlling vibration this year. Wanting and having are two different energies…so become more enthusiastic about the things you need to re-arrange, decisions you need to make, and releasing the guilt you carry. Let go, move forward and stick to your new outlook for better choices.

Clean out that closet, secrets and all…get rid of the old and bring in the new, Our Universe is demanding it. Blessings and great new beginnings to all for 2011, expect the unexpected.
