Wavespell of the Red Dragon
December 25, 2010 – January 6, 2011

     The Wavespell of the Red Dragon starts December 25, with thirteen days to nurture ourselves in all levels and start new projects!

     The Wavespell of the Red Dragon initiates a whole new cycle of 260 days; it’s the energy of Birth representing the source of life, origin, primal waters.

     We are invited during the Wavespell of the Red Dragon to pause during our hectic schedules to reflect on how we are nurturing ourselves, how we are feeding our mind, heart, body and soul. On a mental level, do you feed your mind with positive thoughts? On a physical level, do you listen to your body and give it what it needs? On an emotional level, do you allow yourself to flow in all your emotions and express your feelings and needs to others? And on a spiritual level, are you connected with Spirit in your own way in order to let your soul expand?

     It is very important in these days to pay attention to what we read, listen, say, think, feel, and do. Also, the way we take care of ourselves, what we do in our spare time, and how we experience our daily activities. If we live in the present or in regrets from the past and expectations for the future, then we are repressing any emotions and cultivating unhealthy relationships with ourselves, Mother Nature and our environment. It all affects our energy level, wellbeing and health.

     We are generally used to giving, but sometimes it is difficult for us to receive. In order to feel whole, the Red Dragon reminds us that life is a circle, where we need to be receptive and also learn how to ask for what we need. Share with the world your wisdom and gifts and allow others to offer you theirs!

     We all feel the need to change in certain aspects of our lives. During the Wavespell of the Red Dragon we are invited to take action and move forward to the next level, while also taking care of ourselves. It’s time to give birth to a new project, an old dream or a new idea. Those things we have been putting aside, planning to start them one day. But, for one reason or another, we haven’t taken the first step to do so. Nike’s® slogan would say: Just do it! The time is now...

     Whatever you do, make sure it is in alignment with your Life Purpose. And, if you don’t know yet what your Life Purpose is, it’s a good time to listen to your heart, get connected with your true Self and ask for help if needed.

Beginning of the Red Castle

     The Wavespell of the Red Dragon is the first energy of the Tzolkin cycle of 260 days. It initiates the Red Castle of Initiation, where we have 52 days to start new projects.

     It’s truly amazing how time is accelerating, I remember writing my previous Wavespell of the Red Dragon (260 days ago) in my hotel room in Chile during a business trip, just before leaving for Peru that night. On one hand, it feels as if it were yesterday... And, on the other hand, so many things happened in my personal life since then that it seems as if years have passed!

     As shared with you three Castles ago, I finally decided to let go of the corporate world in June after 21 years. It was not an easy decision as I very much enjoyed what I was doing, but I listened to my heart and decided to fully dedicate my time to my Life Purpose.

     In this new cycle that starts tomorrow, I am planning to continue creating and developing wonderful things I will be sharing with you during the year. I have been getting a lot of feedback from my readers. It makes me very happy to hear what you are going through and how you live the Wavespells, while it also enriches my own path. Now that I have my blog on-line, I encourage you to write your comments there, so that everybody can benefit from them as well.

     It’s time to shift our attention from our minds to our hearts. Let’s nurture ourselves with Nature’s wisdom and our life experiences, and become aware of whom we are, cultivate our own path and share it with others, while trusting we will get what we are looking for.
