Your Personal Look Into 2011's New Year

     Numerology is simple, it’s easy, and it’s something you all can do… Numerology is the divinatory science of utilizing numbers to see trends, patterns, and possibilities. Traditionally, the bases of numerology, states everything can be boiled down to a number.

     When it comes to us as individuals, we must consider our souls did not begin with this one lifetime and that we bring much into this life, in the way of history and experience. Basic metaphysical principle’s state, we all choose our day of birth, time, place, parents, brothers, sisters, partners and all the major experiences we have throughout our lives, as well as our talents, memories and hidden urges. Take it or leave it, but try putting it to the test, it will prove itself to you.

     One of the best ways to see the power of numbers at work is at the beginning of every New Year. The calendar year, when added together — 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 4 — forms what we call the Universal Year and places a layer of energy over the entire planet, beating through our collective unconscious. Since we have been using this man made system of time for thousands of years now, it has impressed itself into all of our individual psyches.

     The Universal Year affects everyone including the economy and the government, and sets the general trends for the year. We individualize it by adding our month and day of birth, to the current calendar year. Simple, but quite powerful, it works. All one needs to do is read what I have written, sit back and watch in amazement, as your life reflects the basic tones of your personal year.

     For instance, I was born on June 9. The simple way to add this up is — 6 (the Month) + 9 (the Day) + 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 19. Then add together the 1 + 9 = 10 and then continue again to add the 1 + 0 = 1. So, I am entering a “1” personal year.

     For our purposes, I would like you to retain the base number, on your way to the root numbers. The “1” is my root number, while the 19 and the 10 are my base numbers. I want you to keep every number from 22 downward, anything above 22, reduce and read what I have written. I would also like to tell you none of this is new. I base all of this on the science of divining by numbers, the Tarot, some Astrology, and you may notice some Kabbalah thrown in for good measure, oh yes and my intuition. They all merger to pull in all those qualities that are required to analyze our modern day lives.

     You will notice, I get a different number if I were to add it together like this
6 (the Month) + 9 (the Day) + 2 + 0 + 1 + 1 = 19 then add together the 1 + 9 = 10 and then continue again to add the 1 + 0 = 1. The 19 falls under our 22 and below range, so we would keep it along with the 10. It would thus be a 19 / 10 / 1 personal year for me.

     Here is a look at a third method, add up the 2011 to its root number of 4 and then add the month and day in — 4 + 9 + 6 = 19 / 10 / 1.

In which case you would add 2 + 0 + 5 + 4 = 11 = 1 + 1 = 2 or 11 / 2

NOTE: Look to this Personal Year energy to begin at the New Year proper, for all birthdays, like mine, that start somewhere in the middle or end of the year. You will only experience this Personal Year energy in its core between your birthday and the end of the year, and then it’s all about blending. Also note during the year how the previous number completes itself, on its journey to the next number.

     One method is based on Western Numerology, while the other is done with the Tarot in mind, consider them both. Now read on!

The “1” Personal Year

     In a personal year of “1”, you will have a strong urge to individualize and speak your inner and outer voice, in unison. Typically, these are years of new beginnings, new attitudes and a new found anticipation for living. You are beginning a new “9” year cycle, planting seeds that will grow, and if nurtured properly will give back all the effort you put in them. To be in a “1” year, as cardinal signs have so much energy in them, is to expect change as you begin this new cycle. You can bet the stale existence is sure to get jump started, so dot your “i’s” and cross your “t’s”, everyone is going to be watching.

     If it is a 10 / 1, you are starting a new cycle of business potential, luck, and motivational drive. You will most likely have a year of traveling and many changes that will only serve to put you on the path of your destiny. If it is a 19 / 10 / 1, you will have glimpses in the true meaning of your life, you will begin the journey that will lead you to your spiritual fulfillment, a strong cycle of accomplishment has begun. A need to be scholarly and expand your mind will surround you and all the new relationships you build this year.
 
The “2” Personal Year

     With a personal year of “2”, you will establish relationships this year, more like networking, building cliental, and strengthening your email lists. With the astrological cycles blended in, don’t expect to sit on your bum and people to come to you. “2” is like night to “1’s” day; expect sudden unexpected changes in all your relationships. Your intuition will be extremely high and very powerful women will be present, all year long.

     If you are an 11 / 2, this year will be fraught with uncomfortable and disheartening experiences; they are designed to enlighten you about the meaning of your life. People will come to you all year long, in search of answers. Trust in your own experiences, see all side to every event and be open to learning through others. 20 / 2, this year you will find who your true friends are, all your relationships will be put to the test, and you will endeavor to get to the source of any and all physical imbalances that plaque you. Expect to cross paths with those you, have crossed paths with before, in other lives.
 
The “3” Personal Year

     With a “3” personal year, you have a year of experiences, of living your life to the fullest and entertaining and being entertained. Living is what this year is about and being a part of life. The strong cardinal influence of Aries, Libra, and Capricorn, beg me to tell you.

     Two years ago you began a new “9” year cycle and you planted seeds and gauged a new perspective on your life. Last year you met the people and began to build the relationships that would put you where you need to be, to acquire your personal goals. Now you are building your plan of action, to put everything in motion, and you are excited doing it.

     In a 12 / 3 year, things don’t always work out like had planned, expected or wanted them to. Laughter and experiencing life is what this year is about, diverged of expectations. It is the healing of your soul and being a part of life, the 12 / 3 wants to impress. It often does this through sacrifice and separating yourself from expectations. Look to explore your soul, to understand your need for sensations and to come to terms with what it means to live in the present. A 12 / 3, is a year of confidence, open fields, and knowing who you are and what you want. It is a year of excitement and socializing, with deep and spiritual connections. You have an opportunity to discover the meaning of your life, if you can just get past yourself.
 
The “4” Personal Year

     No more playing in a “4” year, especially with a “4” Universal Year. It will bait you right into the vibration, and with Pluto ruled triggers it’s work, work, and more work. I hope you like what you do because this is a year of effort, will power, and force. The seeds you planted in the “1” year, sprout and now you must make use of them. A “1” year began the cycle that set up a course of action, to assist you to look from “the outside in” with a “2” year, and lay out your plans, in a “3” year. Now you’re living a personal “4” year which is the ideal of what you have wanted to manifest, physical and real…can you handle it? Getting what you want means responsibility, focus, and integrity or else, the manifestation of your desires will dissipate. And with nothing to show, you will have a hard year, full of being forced to pay your bills, paying attention to your body and health, and struggling to maintain your lifestyle. So the best bet is to strive to be the very best, most productive and honorable, with all your commitments.

     Oh, yes, and if you like men, expect for there to be a lot more of them, “4’s” often bring a lot of men, in and out of our lives. And with men it is a focus on your body, flesh, muscles and blood, whether you go to the doctor or just start a new workout routine. What this can lead to are physical, physical and more physical.

     A 13 / 4, is a definite year of change, the effort and responsibility is to your previous commitments, bills, and debts, this also includes your health and your body. If you have been neglecting your life and partying, playing, and socializing, in the last year of “3”, then this year will force you to wake up and smell the coffee, pay attention, it’s time to deal with all your pervious responsibilities and get a clean slate, so you can enjoy the life you are ultimately striving to live. Expect, the debts you will pay, will also include what you owe to others. Relationships that have come to an end will require you to say your peace and be done with them.

     This cycle of “4” is very much one of change. Change by addressing all of your responsibilities and personal commitments. A 22 / 4 is a year you will find yourself and come to terms with your limits and boundaries. If you find yourself in powerful positions, where you have many others around you, your integrity, morality, and honor will come into play; the test of spirit is upon you. You should look to the everlasting structures you build, structures that will be around long after you have separated from them. Legal matters come up and so do inheritances, family issues and the responsibility of previous commitments, get called into action.
 
The “5” Personal Year

     During a “5” personal year, you are meant to reap the rewards of all your hard work, but at the same time, you need to understand the idea of continually nurturing all of the inner-personal relationships, which have served to get you where you are today. The number “5” is typically one of freedom. The freedom that one gets after they have worked their ass off, under the “4” of last year. But don’t forget it is that true power which is still ahead of you. With the accent of stress from Pluto, beware of overplaying, obsessing, and pushing the buck to the limit. So much fire can be overwhelming and seeing through it impossible, so just have fun, enjoy good times and good people. Take nothing to heart and stay focused on the prize. Romance is possible, but only if you don’t crowd it. Even though you are blessed with the rewards of all your hard work, you had better remember who butters your bread or else you are likely to lose the support of the other elements that make you what you are. Travel and learn to take personal days. Working hard will bring pleasure but not if you over love your personal forms of expression. What you have set in motion, very much colors all of your experiences. Have fun while you work and the sky is the limit, or else beware of loosing focus.

     A 14 / 5 personal year, is a year you learn to be the absolute best you can be. Being successful and mastering all of your personal goals, requires attention and focus, if you just expect life to obey you, you have another thing coming. Learning to master the life you have built for yourself, takes total conscious awareness of all your actions, words, thoughts, and signatures. Pay attention, stay conscious, and you will love where you find yourself next year. This year will challenge you to stay in harmony and balance, both in your mind and body. Take nothing for granted, you could lose, just as easily as you can win. Pluto doesn’t play around and is not playing around with you.
 
The “6” Personal Year

     The “6” year you will find yourself on an even keel and you will discover your rhythm and learn how to live within the parameters of your flesh, mind, and those around you. It will almost be unreal how luck, prosperity, money, and wealth seem to descend into your life. Learning the value of this merging of opposites is the game the number “6” is urging you to learn. Dancing can only be learned by doing the dance, expect to trip and fall down, but once you get up and learn, learn, and learn some more, you will find your rhythm. The decisions you make this year will either lead you to where you have always wanted to be or thrust you into a cave of hermitage. Love can be yours and a strong lifetime of relationships can be re-acquired. This year you will meet a soul mate, not a twin flame, but a soul mate. Trust, this will not be easy and returning to love lost, will be a keynote of the year. Money is often a part of the year and so is it growing.

     People with a personal year of 15 / 6, must learn to play the game of life this year. Laugh and smile, no matter what happens. Life has a cruel way of smacking you in your face, challenging you to see how serious you are. If you panic and freak, then life will pull the rug from underneath you and you will feel silly when it is all done. The potential is for business, industry, and building a public reputation. You will find yourself in the company of heavy weights and need to accept, what it means to rub elbows with the elite, if you play your cards right, you might just find yourself, no longer outside but one of the inner-circle.
 
The “7” Personal Year

     In a “7” personal year, your need is to go inward and evaluate your life and everyone in it. It will be a crises year, as the cardinal strings of your own personality are tugged. It is a year of great depth, requiring many hours of alone time. Whether you get to spend time alone or not, your state of confusion will alert you to a need your subconscious is stressing, stop, sit and review. Pressing forward will only be fraught with stress and anxiety, while sitting and reassessing your plan of action will open the path before you. You are good at writing, researching, determining answers and finding direction. Using systems of divination are highly recommended, including traditional forms of prayer. The ladder up the staircase to heaven makes no judgments and loves each and every one of us, unconditionally. Learning and absorbing what you learn is easier, as well as the time you put toward improvement of your mind and the understanding of your life experiences.

     In a 16 / 7 personal year, you have the ability to see your life for what it is and all the people in it. “7’s” are not typically very social years, you tend to only be drawn to people you have a strong soul connection to. 16 / 7 years are ones of great change, so do not expect to hold onto things, if you continue to forcibly keep everything locked into place, most likely you will experience a breakdown of your outer environment and your inner-sense of stability. Find someone to talk to, look for a guide, mystic or consoler. The damn holding back all of your repressed emotions, is sure to break. So beat it at its own game, by letting out a little at a time, to alleviate all the pressure and thus avoiding trauma.
 
The “8” Personal Year

     In an “8” personal year you will experience deep connections to the various levels we walk through every day but just don’t consciously recognize. Many people just focus on the business side to this year, as well as the sexual nature of the “8”, but there is a death, and taxes part of it also. With the “4” Universal Year in play, I can tell you, your senses will be heightened. You will have strong intuitions that will lead your life into a new direction. Have you been feeling a need to change your life? Have you been looking for direction? Well if you have, then you will find that direction this year. Money, of course will come into your life and all the power plays that go along with it. With the stress on Pluto, I highly recommend you brace yourself; events are what this year will be about, powerful events, with powerful people that will call you out!

     A 17 / 8 Personal Year is a year of overcoming the limitations of your body and your karma. You will discover the insight into the reasons your life is the way it is. You will penetrate the meaning of disease, discomfort and determine a course of action to change it. Normally, this is a very optimistic year, in which you find yourself falling into the lap of your destiny. If you put your mind to it, all the things that have held you back, till this year, are there for your scrutiny.
 
The “9” Personal Year

     At this point, you have come to the end of the cycle. It is time to hang your hat for the last time and tell the last eight years goodbye. It is a year of smiling, grinning and bearing it. Often people call this a year one of being a humanitarian. But why? Why is the “9” so often considered a year of humanitarianism? At this point, the end of a “9” year cycle, you look behind yourself and realize what all you have left behind, and feel a need of sadness. It is this need for closure that produces the “9’s” need to lift others up by being a humanitarian. On that note, you must just release and accept life, birth, and death are a continual cycle. We may not want things to change but they usually do and will. Often these years are very psychic years, and we are given an opportunity to clearly experience what it is like to have psychic phenomena occur.

     The 18 / 9 personal years are often a year of deceptions, illusions, and running away from the truth. One always needs to be careful when it comes to living through this year, as ones tendency to medicate on drugs and alcohol, is heightened and your personal psychic sensitivities are stretched to the max. As the transits to Pluto continue to pulse in the psyche of man, your tendencies toward drama, freaking out and getting lost in a detail, are pushed to the extreme. You have to accept that when things come to an end, you have to let go. And, what you must let go of becomes obvious; otherwise, one runs the risk of pulling outsiders into your self-created crises.

     Now the challenge is to take this information, put it to use and run with it.
