Interpreting Abundance in Life

Carlton, What is your interpretation of acquiring an abundant life?

Phil, I firmly believe we can create whatever it is we desire in life. We are conditioned from childhood by our role models in early life and then on into adulthood. This conditioning implies wholeness and well being in our lives.

From a young age we use our mind, aspirations, and desire to achieve what we are ultimately seeking. We all posses an invisible force which guides us and utilizes creativity. So, at that early time in our life we establish conscious thought patterns which will impact future endeavors and life ambitions.

Abundant living encompasses just about all aspects of life. Our dominant thought colors every decision we make. It establishes a mental pattern which consciously and unconsciously finds expression in decisions and actions we take. At times we are our own worst enemy. Negative thinking, low self esteem, ridicule from our peers, failed attainments, loss of employment, a lost love quest, unfilled employment, and the list goes on.

Psychologist tells us that 8 percent of our accidents are unconsciously invited; that at least 75 percent of our diseases are unconsciously created; that our success or failure in life is largely unconscious, and, of course, our happiness or our misery is almost certain. Since our habit patterns are now established, we must be very definite to the goals we wish to attain. Now we come to the concept: we are thinking and active centers in our mind and the sum total of all our thoughts is either silently attracting good to us or repelling it from us.

Abundant living results from the correct use of the highest laws and principles in divine right action. Prosperity implies wholeness in our lives, which everyone is seeking. Joy, happiness, good health, fulfillment in love and work, wonderful friends, are all the magnification of abundance. Unpleasant events and trauma take us into a downward spiral and laden us with bitterness. We must then follow our path of spiritual wholeness.

One cannot have it all. I have known many celebrities who attained fame and great wealth. The glamour and fame come with an awful price that many would relinquish for a normal way of living, despite their innate desire to entertain in their chosen profession.

I personally believe that anyone who serves the public finds a unique joy in doing so. Physicians heal, teachers and professors educate, engineers build, and countless other professionals give of themselves to make a difference and enrich our lives. I believe they would tell us all, that abundance is theirs to hold.

Now to a spiritual level; we are all already rich in the sight of God. He sees our needs in each unique situation, and gives us the surplus we need to come to a satisfactory conclusion. Creating abundance certainly takes more effort than changing the verbiage of how you describe yourself and your situations. One has to go deep inside to who you react. Stepping back and looking at the whole picture you are in, with true assessment will give you the correct guidance for a successful outcome.
Remember, that nothing comes to us in a instant, without utilizing patience and how we use our creativity. Utilizing the gift the Universe has offered will lead to the accomplishments of your dreams and desire. There is power for good in the Universe greater than you are, and you can use it. Let us try to figure out just how we can more effectively cooperate with the Law of Mind in Action. You will find wonderful accomplishments are meant to come to us in this life and the environment in which we live. So say to yourself:

“I do accept this good. I do believe my prayer is answered. I do affirm the presence of love, friendship, happiness, prosperity, health, peace—whatever the need may be, and nothing in me denies, rejects, or refuses it. I do accept in now, AND SO It IS!”
