Wavespell of the Red Serpent
April 8 to 20, 2011 (Kins 105-117)


     I am back in Houston, after three wonderful and intense weeks in Argentina. I am celebrating with the Wavespell of the Red Serpent a full Tzolkin cycle (260 days) since

     Until now, I have written basic information on the energies in the beginning of each one of the 20 Wavespells of the Tzolkin. In this new cycle, I will continue to share with you the energies in the same sequence, but in a more practical way, using books, stories and personal experiences related to each Wavespell, when it starts. Please let me know via email if you have any inspiring books or stories you would like to share so I can include them in future Wavespells.

     Today, April 9, 2011, is the second day of the Wavespell of the Red Serpent. This Wavespell also initiates the Blue Castle of Chaos and Transformation where several things occur:

     Considering the intensity of the Blue Castle, I would like to share with you a brief explanation of each concept so you can get in tuned with the energies within the respective dates.

Wavespell of the Red Serpent

     As of April 8, and during this set of 13 days we are in, we are invited to get connected with our vital force and instincts. The Red Serpent represents vitality and Life force, the instinct for survival, the foundation of our desires and motivations. In the days of the Red Serpent, we are asked to listen to our inner voice and act from our gut-feelings. On a physical level, it’s time to take the necessary steps to alleviate tension and discomfort in our bodies.

     Serpents shed their skin in one layer and with no pain. The old dead skin is replaced by a new one that grows underneath. Symbolically, the Wavespell of the Red Serpent reminds us that it is time for re-generation and renewal, asking us to let go of the things from the past that are obsolete in order to continue growing and evolving.

Blue Castle

     The Wavespell of the Red Serpent initiates the Blue Castle of Chaos and Transformation, the third of five castles in the 260-day Tzolkin cycle. We have 52 days to continue transforming and releasing all those illusions that are holding us back in our path.

     The Blue Castle is known as the Castle of Burning as it contains the two GAP Columns and the Mystic Column.

Galactic Activation Portals (GAP Days)

     Within the Blue Castle, there are two columns of 10 consecutive GAP days each. A Galactic Activation Portal is a day with higher frequencies and intensity. When we live attached to our ego’s illusions, we may feel in a GAP day confused and overwhelmed. On a soul level, these days are very special as they serve as portals to receive cosmic wisdom helping us to be conscious of our journey and to accelerate our process of transformation.

     The first column starts April 9, on the second day of the Wavespell of the Red Serpent, and it goes until April 18, 2011. As this Wavespell is also related to health, we are asked to pay special attention to how we feel and to take care of our selves better.

     The second column starts on the third day of the Wavespell of the Yellow Seed, and it goes from May 19 to 28, 2011.

Mystic Column (Core Days)

     The Mystic Column is the seventh and mid column of the Tzolkin cycle and it contains the Core Days, a 20-day period for attunement. This column symbolically represents our spine, which keeps us straight, aligned and centered. In those days, we are invited to be present in the here and now, to go within, to rest and to take care of ourselves.

     Although the Mystic Column is also very intense, it gives us “a little break” in between the two GAP Columns. This column goes from April 24 to May 13, 2011.

What does it all mean?

     The next 52 days represent a great opportunity to accelerate our conscious evolution! Any change on a soul level requires “sacrifices” from the ego’s perspective. Facing our shadows and dissolving the masks that are keeping us anchored in the illusions created by our ego (based on fear) puts us in a vulnerable place, but it is the only way to truly transform what doesn’t serve our purpose anymore in order to create a more meaningful life.

     These intense times, known as the Shift of Ages, require a different approach than trying to understand everything from rational thinking based on logic.

     We may get caught in our cluttered minds, in the non-stop mental chatter that drains our energy and creates confusion. The Wavespell of the Red Serpent reminds us of the importance of following our instincts to listen to the inner voice that comes from our heart—not from the mind. It’s time as well to start listening to our body, which is constantly giving us signals on what we should do in order to achieve wellbeing. If we are stuck in our minds, we miss the valuable inner guidance that is the real source of transformation!

     Allow yourself to flow in the chaos and trust the process! And, in this way, you will be able to restore balance and harmony in your life.
