Finally. . . I am returning to Bosnia and Dr. Sam’s pyramid complex and I can hardly wait! Some of you will join me on this adventure because truthfully, this is a rare opportunity to visit the site that will be an integral part of reshaping our collective history.
Since Dr. Sam discovered the site in 2005 there has been much controversy about the authenticity of the find—in fact, this discovery divided the archaeological community in many ways. However, over the six years since discovery, evidence has mounted…and mounted. In September 2011 Dr. Sam will host an international conference in Sarajevo—the capital of Bosnia—featuring scientist from around the world to share their insights about ancient sites and their opinions on this important find. I will be there!
Our tour begins in Sarajevo on September 4, 2011 and ends on September 11. We will be staying in Sarajevo, which is only 20 miles from Visoko where the pyramid complex is located. Sarajevo is an amazing multi-culture city and we will be staying in the very heart of it.
Included in the tour will be entrance to the conference, hotel accommodations, transfers to/from the Sarajevo airport, breakfast each day and lunches during the tours. We will visit and be able to walk around and in the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the tunnel system. Experiencing an excavation as important as this one at this stage could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We will meet the volunteers and archaeologists working the digs, and of course, be hosted by the founder himself, Dr. Sam.
An energy beam has been detected at the top of the Pyramid of the Sun and we will be able to stand in that energy! Dr. Sam is convinced this site has rejuvenation properties and after visiting the complex last September I have to agree—there is something different about the energy there and I can hardly wait to get back.
Bosnia is a beautiful country, and the valley where the pyramid complex is located is simply lush terrain. We will see the huge concrete blocks discovered under three feet of soil and vegetation. The terraces are emerging as excavation continues.
After the dig was shut down last fall, a small crew was doing cleanup work in the main tunnel system and broke through to a very large open area. This was a huge breakthrough for Dr. Sam and his team because now they are moving into tunnels that don’t have to be hand excavated which takes a lot of man hours. Dr. Sam estimates there are 10 miles of these tunnels and it has been a slow and painstaking process for everyone involved to clear them out. So, this accidental find has literally saved years of work for the crew. Part of the tour will include walking into those tunnels where the giant monoliths and underground lakes have been discovered. We will be walking where very few have been for eons.
In addition, we will participate in a unique process where medical evaluations will be done on each of us interested in participating both before and after entering the tunnel system, and being in the energy of the Pyramid of the Sun. Included with The New Era Times Tour price is either the medical screening at the tunnels or the Pyramid of the Sun. Anyone wanting to do both will have that option for a nominal additional fee.
We have not included air travel in our tour because people will be flying in from different places and some will want to go early or stay after the tour to visit other places in Europe while they are there. In addition, some will want to use their frequent flyer miles for the trip. So, we will all meet in Sarajevo on September 4, 2011 to begin our adventure.
I would like to give you a head’s up on the air travel though—count on two days each direction. From most places in the US you will have to change planes twice before getting to Sarajevo. When I went last September, we flew nonstop from Houston to Paris and then took the trains from there. That was quite a journey! We bought U-Rail passes which were great, but the system does not cover Bosnia at this point and I can’t highly recommend the trains in Bosnia compared to the ones in other European countries. The best bet is to fly in and out. It is easy enough to schedule another stop either before or after the tour. On our trip we visited Zagreb, Croatia, Amsterdam, Prague and, of course, Paris. All of which were interesting and worth the time.
But, there was nothing in Europe more fascinating than the Bosnian Pyramid complex. It is unique. It is magical. And it is calling me back. Pack up your dig attire and come along!
