Wesak and The Akashic Records

     The celebration of Wesak in the East commemorates Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and release of his physical body. All three of these events are said to have occurred during the full moon of the month of May. Wesak is observed when the sun is in the constellation of Taurus, and the full moon is in the constellation of Scorpio. This year in the United States this auspicious occasion occurs on the full moon on May 17, 2011.

     I encourage you to meditate and direct your attention to perceive and experience the energies of Wesak. Accessing the Akashic Records to prepare for and to observe the holy week of Wesak would be very beneficial.

     Various esoteric writings describe Wesak as a transmission of spiritual energy by a Hierarchy of Beings of all dimensions, time periods, and locations who have an interest in the spiritual development of humanity on Earth. This energy transmission begins to strengthen over two or three days before the full moon, and lingers palpably for the two to three days after the full moon.

     During Wesak, the Hierarchy, the Buddha, and the Christ all place their attention on the Earth and its inhabitants and transmit a wave of energy that will stimulate the raising of consciousness and spiritual development of humanity throughout the rest of 2011 and into 2012.

     The week of May 14 through May 20, 2011, will be a very sacred time, an important time to meditate and focus your attention on raising your own consciousness and developing an understanding of your soul’s desire to serve humanity. The two or three days before the Wesak full moon may be spent in prayer, meditation, and contemplation, cleansing one’s consciousness of attitudes and beliefs that no longer serve the soul’s purpose. Accessing your own Akashic Records can give great insight into your soul’s purpose, and will bring to light gifts and abilities that your soul has developed through many incarnations. The support and unconditional love that one finds in the Records also enable healing and self-forgiveness through soul-level objectivity and guidance.

     You may utilize your meditation time during Wesak to surrender your ego to your Higher Self, your own inner Divinity. Align your thoughts, words, and actions as closely as possible with your understanding of the wisdom revealed by the Buddha and the unconditional love demonstrated by the Christ. These two Masters come together at this time to transmit a wave of energy to all of humanity; an impulse to raise human consciousness to a higher frequency and to stimulate spiritual development through service to others.

     Ideally, the days leading up to the Wesak full moon have been used to cleanse the heart, mind, and will of the judgment, resistance, and fear of the ego. Then the day of the full moon may be spent in silence and a state of receptivity, holding the mind and heart open to receive the rarified energies being transmitted by the Hierarchy into the energy field of the Earth.

     As these energies flow into the chakras of those aligned and receptive to this holy dispensation, all of the subtle bodies and the physical body are transformed, and the consciousness of the recipient is raised. The days following the full moon may be spent in contemplation of the soul’s role in the spiritual evolution of this planet. Again, the Akashic Records are the perfect resource to lead one to an understanding of the unique gifts and talents that may be offered in service for the highest good of humanity and the Earth.

     Engaging the will to draw upon the mind transformed by the wisdom of the Buddha, coupled with a heart radiating the unconditional love demonstrated by the Christ, transmutes the seeker and student into healer, teacher, and world-server.

     I encourage you to open your Akashic Records and ask your Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones to aid you to perceive and to align with the energies transmitted for the spiritual development of humanity at the Wesak full moon during the week of May 14 through May 20, 2011.
