     The Wavespell of the Yellow Seed starts May 17, 2011, with thirteen days to plant the seeds of what we want to harvest in our lives!

     We all have dreams, ideas and projects we want to materialize but, many are afraid to go out of their “comfort zone”, and are never able to make them come true.

The Dolphin — Story of a Dreamer

     A few years ago, while on a trip to Peru, I found this wonderful little book written by Sergio F. Bambarén who, in a very simple way, transmits profound messages for the soul.

     On the back cover it says:

     Daniel Dolphin was a dolphin who loved to surf. He knew there was something more in life than just sleeping and fishing and he was determined to discover his life purpose through surfing. Although the other dolphins couldn’t understand him, he was willing to take the risk by stepping out of the comfort zone to follow his heart.

     One day Daniel Dolphin decided to leave the pod and trust the unknown with the clear intention of making his dream come true: to find the perfect wave! And, the moment he chose to break with old patterns, he was given all the guidance needed along the way. He was not sure where he would find it, but he knew he was headed in the right direction.

     During the journey, he encountered interesting creatures and situations that had something to teach him, and he also had to face some challenges. Nevertheless, he kept being patient and was constantly aware of his intention, knowing that nothing or nobody could stop him from achieving his goal.

We all have dreams, Daniel realized. The only difference is that some fight and persevere to reach their destiny, no matter what the risks are. Others simply ignore their dreams, afraid of losing what they have. They never realize what the true purpose of their life is.

     Daniel Dolphin had been taught to never pass the reef because nobody ever made it back. He knew though that, in order to become all he was meant to be, he had to dare to be different and try it by himself.

     He chose to overcome his fears, while being persistent and staying focused on his path. In the end, he not only found the perfect wave, but he also returned to his pod with a very valuable lesson to share.
