Wavespell of the White Dog
June 12-24, 2011
The Wavespell of the White Dog starts June 12, 2011, with thirteen days to get connected with Unconditional Love and Loyalty!
On a soul level, we love unconditionally when we experience In Lak’esh as a profound and conscious interconnectedness with all living beings. On an ego level, our human “issues” arise and we love with conditions or become obsessed, possessive and fearful.
The point is: How can I love others if I don’t love myself? How can I really accept others if I feel trapped in a body I don’t like? How can I truly respect others if I think I am not worthy, I am not good enough? How can I trust others if I lie to myself and the world? How can I develop healthy relationships if I am constantly ‘beating myself up’?
The Mastery of Love — Don Miguel Ruiz
In his book, Don Miguel Ruiz explains that we can only achieve the mastery of love after mastering Awareness and Transformation. First, we need to know who we truly are and then, change the necessary agreements and beliefs to re-gain freedom, happiness and love.
Don Miguel Ruiz shares some characteristics about Love and Fear to see how we are living our life. In other words, they help us to realize in which aspects we are living on a soul level (Love/Spiritual/Light) or ego level (Fear/Human/Shadows).
Love has no obligations, no resistance. We do things because we want to and they give us pleasure. With Fear, instead, we do things because we have to and we expect others to do the same. Once we feel the obligation, we resist it and suffer.
Love has no expectations. As we do the things we want, it makes us happy independently of what others do. With Fear, we are hurt if others don’t do things our way.
Love is based on respect. Fear feels sorry for oneself (self-pity) and others. Love doesn’t feel sorry for anyone but it is compassionate.
Love is completely responsible. Fear avoids responsibility, suffering in the end from the consequences of its actions, independently if it made a choice or not.
Love is unconditional. Fear is full of conditions. In the track of fear, I love you if you let me control you, if you are good to me, if you fit into the image I make for you. I create an image of the way you should be, and because you are not and never will be the image, I judge you because of that, and find you guilty. If you don’t fit that image I create, you embarrass me, you annoy me, I have no patience with you. I am just pretending kindness. In the track of love, there is no if; there are no conditions. I love you the way you are, and you are free to be the way you are. We don’t have the right to change anyone else and no one else has the right to change us. If we are going to change, it is because we want to change, because we don’t want to suffer any longer.
With Fear we are full of obligations, expectations, no respect, avoiding responsibility and feeling sorry. How can we feel good when we are suffering from so much fear? We feel victimized by everything; we feel angry or sad or jealous or betrayed. We are not kind because we don’t feel good, we are not happy. With Love, you are feeling good about yourself, and because you are happy, you are kind. That kindness makes you generous and opens all doors. Fear is selfish and selfishness closes all doors. —Don Miguel Ruiz

Yellow Electric Star
In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!” a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…
