**********

On October 7, the Wavespell of the Blue Hand starts with thirteen days to get connected with Healing, Knowledge and Accomplishment!

It’s time to remember of the importance of having a holistic approach to healing, which is more than just taking care of body. Long-lasting wellbeing is achieved by healing our physical, emotional, mental and Spiritual bodies. And although we can always count with external help to heal ourselves in any of those levels, we should know that tools are just triggers that assist us to awaken our own healing powers.

During the Wavespell of the Blue Hand we are also invited to give completion to pending projects. When our “to do list” gets longer and longer, we feel anxious and distracted. We worry for the things we are not doing and we experience drainage of energy. We end up getting all stressed out and, eventually, it may become detrimental to our health.

The Monk that Sold his Ferrari — Robin Sharma

Robin Sharma shares in this beautiful fable the story of Julian Mantle, a Harvard Law School graduate who, after becoming one of the most famous attorneys of his time, had an experience that changed his life forever.

Julian was used to win all the cases he represented and he lived a very luxurious life. Although he had everything he dreamt of in the material world, his fame made him a prisoner of his work and success and nothing seemed to satisfy him anymore. He worked eighteen hours a day, his workload was constantly increasing and he was pushing himself harder and harder. He was having a very unhealthy life style, he could no longer sleep and he looked twenty years older than what he really was. His life was totally out of balance on all levels, losing his sense of humor, passion and purpose. He felt disconnected and empty within.

One day, being only fifty three years old and in one of his most important trials, Julian Mantle had a massive heart attack in the middle of the courtroom. Julian was lucky to have survived this painful experience, which took him to India where he connected with the Great Sages of Sivana in the Himalayas and embarked a profound transformational process that taught him what the true meaning of life was.

After three years in this journey, Julian returned to his old world with great messages to share with others. He had recovered his inner harmony, looked younger and peaceful, and radiated an abundance of vitality and energy that gave him an almost divine presence.

“Every event has a purpose and every setback its lesson. I have realized that failure, whether of the personal, professional or even spiritual kind, is essential to personal expansion. It brings inner growth and a whole host of psychic rewards. Never regret your past. Rather, embrace it as the teacher that it is.” Yogi Krishnan shared with Julian at the beginning of his path.

This Spiritual awakening helped Julian to heal from within. He realized that “quick-fixes do not work. All lasting inner change requires time and effort. Persistence is the mother of personal change.” He also noticed that “while the sages were tremendously productive people, their productivity was not of the frenetic type. Instead, it was of the peaceful, focused, Zen-like mind. Everything they did had a purpose.”

Julian explained that the “Ritual of Abundant Knowledge”, fourth of “The Ten Rituals of Radiant Living”, reminded us that “knowledge is only potential power. For the power to be manifested, it must be applied. Most people know what they should do in any given situation or in their lives for that matter. The problem is that they don’t take daily, consistent action to apply the knowledge and realize their dreams.”

**********

We don’t have to get into any extreme situation as Julian did to become aware of the importance of creating a healthier and meaningful life. And it’s never too late to start making little changes in our daily routines to recover wellbeing and vitality.

There is great power in focusing on what you want.... The person who tries to do everything accomplishes nothing. Most people try to be all things to everyone. And so they end up being nothing to anyone. Confucius nailed the point: 'Person who chases two rabbits catches neither.'       —Robin Sharma

In Lak’esh means “I am another yourself!”, a Mayan greeting that recognizes the Divine in each living Being. It’s a message of Unity that reminds us that, when we give, we are also receiving. In this way, the Mayan honored and respected each other, reinforcing the belief that we are all interconnected: what we do to others and to our environment will also affect ourselves in the end…
