Viewing Our Famlies in the Light of the Akashic Records

     As we are immersed in holiday activities, spending time with family and friends, partaking of feasts, expressing gratitude, and giving from the depths of our hearts, this is the perfect time of year to engage in exploration of the Akashic Records regarding our relationships with members of our soul groups.

     Most of us have time off of work around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and we will be spending time with extended family, attending holiday parties, and engaging in special religious worship services. Hopefully, as the days shorten we will spend some fall and winter evenings in contemplation and soul searching, especially as we look toward New Years Day of 2012.

     What better time than this, nearing the end of 2011, to do some ancestral housecleaning? The Akashic Records are the perfect dimension from which to identify and relinquish unwanted ancestral inheritances. The Records are also an infinite resource through which we may explore and align with the positive traits, philosophies, and the highest probabilities of our ancestral lineages.

     Work in the Akashic Records allows us to examine the true nature of our ancestral lines.  We join ancestral lines or soul groups through birth into our genetic lineage, through adoption and marriage, and through friends with whom we choose to associate. I invite you to realize that you are the convergence point of all the genetic lines in your physical lineage acquired at birth or through adoption. You are also the point through which your genetic line intersects with the bloodlines of any families you have joined through marriage.

     And to make matters even more interesting, you also have a spiritual lineage. You are the culmination of all your relations and ancestral lines for all incarnations throughout your soul's existence.

     Have you ever contemplated why you have certain patterns of thinking, prejudices, political ideologies, and religious beliefs? Have you ever recognized habitual patterns related to the foods you eat, the clothes you wear, the entertainment you choose? How much of your thinking and acting is habitual? How much of it comes from your genetic lineage? “This is the way we have always done it.”

     Do you vote for the same political party as your parents? Do you still embrace the religion in which you were raised? Do you find yourself consistently eating similar foods that your family ate when you lived at home? There is nothing wrong with the way you live your life, even if your menu has not changed in 30 years and you still worship in the church where you were baptized as a teenager. I just encourage you to look at WHY you think and act the way you do.

     I invite you to live consciously, to thoughtfully choose activities that nourish your soul, to be involved in a religion, political party, or spiritual practice that truly aids you in fulfilling your soul’s purpose. I encourage you to examine and to release inherited patterns of consciousness that are detrimental to your soul's development. Before we can release unhealthy or destructive patterns of thinking, believing, and acting, we first have to become consciously aware of the habits, philosophies, and genetic tendencies that determine the course of our lives.

     All patterns of thinking and habitual acts are initiated for a very good reason at their inception. However, we often continue to act or think or believe in ways we have outgrown, that no longer serve us, and may even be hindering our spiritual development, just because we are not consciously choosing our thoughts and actions.

     The Akashic Records will reveal to us where a particular pattern of thinking or habitual act originated and why it was initiated. With that information, we may then decide if this pattern is still effective and supportive for us. If it is not in our soul’s best interest to continue this behavior, we may relinquish it through the objectivity of the Records, and choose new ways of thinking and acting that will effectively propel us forward in our spiritual growth.

     In the Akashic Records you may ask to be shown your genetic lineage through the eyes of the Lords of the Records. This will provide an objectivity that is transmitted through the frequency of Unconditional Love. Look at how the paternal and maternal lineages converge and shape who you are today. In the Akashic Records you will see your relations with all of their foibles and frailties as well as their strengths, skills, and abilities. The willingness to walk through this ancestral dimension and to be able to see the Truth of your lineage with an open heart will change the nature of your relationships with these people.

     Questions to ask in your Akashic Records that will aid in healing family relationships:

Why did my soul choose this group, over all other soul groups available, to be the people to raise me and shape my consciousness for this lifetime?

What can I learn from them better than I could learn from any other ancestral group?

Have I been with this soul group before, and what was my experience with them in that incarnation?

How is this particular soul group aiding me in fulfilling my soul’s purpose?

     As you engage with your extended family this holiday season, whether eating a meal together, rooting for your favorite football team around the television, or exchanging material gifts, I encourage you to see these people through the eyes of your soul, and to recognize and be grateful for the gift that each family member brings to you in your soul’s development. Understanding that your soul chose this family deliberately for your learning, and consciously acting on that knowledge allows you to engage with these people on a new, deeper, richer level; in gratitude and unconditional love.
