Are You Ready to Bring New Energy into Your Life?

The essential nature of the soul is pure joy. If I am not experiencing joy, then I am not experiencing my soul.

     Did you know that every particle in creation is alive, filled with life force energy and filled with spirit and intelligence? Pure energy of spirit is all around us even though we may not see it. Everything—a human, a dog, a tree, a table, a stone—is giving off energy. Think for a moment about your home. How would you describe it? Is it elegant, untidy, welcoming, functional…? Know that everything in your outer life is a reflection of your inner self. Everything in your surroundings has an effect on you from the smallest object to the largest. Most people are unconscious of the effect their environment and surroundings have on them.

     When we are energetically out of balance with our surroundings, we become physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually sick. How often do you come across people who either seem to drain you or uplift you? You may have walked into a room and felt heavy as soon as you entered the room. This is your energy responding to your surroundings. It is important to pay attention to the energy you surround yourself with. If your energy is healthy, strong, vibrant and clear, your body will not only feel healthy and vibrant but your life will reflect that. You will be grounded and have a powerful presence wherever you go.


Where is your Energy? Identify your Energy Zappers.

     Everything we do in our lives affects our energy. Because energy acts like a magnet, we constantly attract vibrations to ourselves that are on the same wavelength as our own energy. Your energy influences your basic behavior and attitudes thus affecting the way you experience events, situations and circumstances in your life.

     How balanced is your energy? What are you broadcasting with your energy? Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do you watch excessive television?
  2. Do you often say "yes" when you mean "no"?
  3. Do you feel tired, exhausted or weary for no real cause?
  4. Do you “escape” through alcohol, drugs or food?
  5. Do you sometimes feel powerless or victimized?
  6. Do you find that you get involved in other people’s lives?
  7. Do you feel insecure or unsafe?
  8. Are you in anyway aggressive, domineering or controlling?
  9. Are you critical of either yourself or others?
  10. Do you have unfinished projects that drain your mental energy?
  11. Do you have unresolved emotional issues that drain your life force energy?

     The more “yes” answers you have to these questions, the more likely you are to have people and patterns that deplete your vital life force energy.

     Here are simple tips to bring positive energy flow in your body, your surroundings and in your life:

  1. De-cluttering your physical space is a great way to clear old stagnant energy in your home or work environment. According to the ancient art of Feng Shui clutter is stuck energy. Healthy energy is moving energy. Clearing clutter releases huge amounts of energy and you literally feel lighter in your body, mind and spirit. Energetically the process of de-cluttering can create room for expansion, personal growth and transformation in your life.
  2. Go on a media cleanse to keep your mind clear of negative news and other things. Remove all unloving thoughts from your consciousness and practice harmlessness in your thoughts and words. Fill your consciousness with thoughts of well-being, abundance and joy.
  3. You have both a physical body and an energetic body. You have more personal presence and energy about you when you are grounded in your body. Physically move your body everyday by walking, exercising, stretching, or doing Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates etc. Not only will you feel more healthy, beautiful and fit, you will have more physical and spiritual energy, clarity of mind and deep sense of self empowerment.
  4. Take time to consciously breathe deeply. Each time you inhale, invite in SPIRIT and your SOUL by thinking about it often. With each breath focus on the energy of self-acceptance and each time you exhale, release self-judgments. Focus on inhaling the positive emotion you desire and with each exhale focus on releasing the negative, limiting emotion. Allow yourself to have flowing peaceful emotions, to experience boundless energy and a deep sense of freedom that comes with this simple exercise just few minutes each day.
