HOUSTON, TX--There is a vast array of information out about health and/or wellness and it can really get confusing. So many “experts” are touting the latest and greatest in diet, exercise and lifestyles yet many contradict each other! What is a person to do?
The sad fact is many people do not pay much attention to any of this information unless something drastic happens, like a health issue that can no longer be ignored. Once again the old adage “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” or in this case, the attention. Unfortunately often the symptoms are treated without regard for the root cause of the physical disorder. That much I know, but I wanted more scientific information to share with our readers and so I sat down and had a chat with Dr. Edward F. Group.

Over his career Dr. Group has encountered much resistance to his philosophies from the western medical community. He truly sees himself as an educator rather than a healer and what he teaches people is how to give their own bodies the tools to heal naturally. This is not a quick fix system and those who find comfort in the belief that someone else—medical doctors or other types of healers—can do it for them will find Dr. Group’s approach less than appealing.

I have long said that we are becoming a society caught between being over medicated and over meditated. We have been trained to believe that western medicine has the answers to freeing us from the diseases of our bodies, minds and emotions, and, in the long run, that often does not work.
In the years I have been delving in the metaphysical arena I have tried many things and in fact have often called myself the ultimate human guinea pig. What I have found is that it always comes back to the decisions I make. Anyway, in good human guinea pig fashion I am going to give the internal cleanses a try and I’ll keep you posted!
