
Don Squibb grew up in Detroit, Michigan and Garland, Texas. He received a B.B.A. from SMU followed by a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a M.B.A. from Harvard University before serving as a Judge Advocate Officer in the U.S. Air Force in England for several years in the 1950’s.
During his business career he has been a trust officer, manager of three trust departments including the largest one in the Southwest, a senior bank executive, a leader of fund raising activities for the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, an investment advisor to several private charitable foundations as well as executive director of one of them. He also served as the treasurer of the Southwestern Legal Foundation (now known as The Center for American and International Law) dedicated to providing advanced continuing legal education for both local and international lawyers. As an attorney he has served as a leader in bar association activities and is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Don currently resides in Houston while he does consulting and writing in the fields of estate planning, the delivery of health care, management, and career direction for young people. A widower, he has two daughters and four grandchildren.
